Strengthen your business and connect to other local business owners with Networking Events; Member-to-Member email announcements; Annual Membership Meeting; and access to other Independent Businesses through the international BALLE (Business Alliance for Local Living Economies, www.livingeconomies.org)
Participating businesses will also receive a variety of materials to display and distribute, such as window decals, a poster, a Thank You card (displayed here) highlighting the economic and social benefits of shopping locally will be produced for merchants to distribute.
Campaign participants are authorized to use the Buy Local logo (see our Marketing Materials page) in promotional materials, promoting the fact that the business is locally owned.
Participating businesses will be listed in an online directory (see Business Directory). In addition, co-op advertising opportunities are available in print, radio and TV ads.
Throughout the campaign a series of public and media events will be held to draw attention to the benefits of shopping at locally owned businesses. Check our Pressroom page to see all press releases.
